There is no new episode of Saturday Night Live airing tonight, and therefore no live SNL tonight musical guest, according to NBC’s published broadcast schedule. The long-running sketch comedy series is in a brief mid-season pause following its most recent December episode.
NBC is instead airing a rebroadcast during its usual 11:30 p.m. ET time slot, a standard practice for the show between production blocks. As a result, there will be no host appearance or musical performance filmed live from Studio 8H in New York tonight.
The next new episode of Saturday Night Live is scheduled for January 17, when the show returns with a full live broadcast. NBC has confirmed that rapper A$AP Rocky will serve as the musical guest for that episode, marking his first performance on the program.
The January return follows the show’s holiday break after its final 2025 broadcast in December. Saturday Night Live, now in its 51st season, continues to rotate live episodes with planned reruns throughout the television year.
